Midori & Xavier’s wedding brought people far & wide together to The Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park in London, in a celebration of a truly remarkable love story that has spanned the globe.
Japanese-American Midori met Londoner Xavier (whom is of Ghanaian/Grenadian heritage himself) at the University of Miami. They spent long periods of time separated by continents and oceans, but this did not ever them from being together. And after years of chasing each other around the world to spend a few days at a time together, they finally settled in London…. Although Midori can still be found clocking up air miles since she is an air stewardess!
The Pembroke Lodge was a wonderful choice of venue, nestled in the world famous Richmond Park in London, it is elegant and tranquil. We began the day at the iconic Petersham Hotel just by the park’s gates, followed by a mad dash through the park to the lodge. We were made to feel incredibly welcome on the day by all friends & family, and I’m certain this has come out in the photography.
I got to know them both almost 10 years ago, so it was a real privilege to capture Midori & Xav’s wedding day, and we wish them all the best in the future! Here is a preview of some of our favourite from their big day.
