It is a great pleasure to share Kate and Chris’ stunning Wedding Day. Kate and Chris got married on a bright and sunny day in Essex. The couple said their vows in a beautifully intimate ceremony at Rayleigh Windmill, a wedding venue that is close to my heart for several reasons; it is in the town that I grew up in and I shot my first ever wedding there, being just a couple. The wedding ceremony was very personal, the Windmill has a friendly and relaxing feel about it that puts everyone at ease. The exterior of the building allows for some great family photo opportunities.
The celebrations continued in a charmingly decorated marque surrounding by rolling Essex countryside. The wedding had a laid back feel to it and I got to spend some quality time with the Bride and Groom alone getting some natural portraits. It is always lovely for a wedding photographer when your couple has time to relax into their photos and you get to capture them really enjoying themselves and taking in the emotions of the day.
Kate and Chris’ Wedding was all about family and friends celebrating the couple’s marriage, a really lovely authentic celebration of love.
