MEET MIKE
Hi, I’m Mike and like everyone, I love a family picture over a good sunset. So much so that this desire to capture some ‘better’ travel and family photography of my own lead me down a wormhole of becoming a wedding and family portrait photographer, something I’m proud to call my day job.
My journey to here took the scenic route, via an Economics degree and nine years in a 9-5 city job. Sometime during these years, I fell in love with photography, and knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Fast forward to today, and assisted by a few really talented creators, we’re a small team of photographers and filmmakers, lead by myself, capturing weddings with the same imagination and passion as my very first.
Naturally weddings are mostly a weekend venture, so during the week I run a creative agency Ranch.
I live in lovely Leigh-on-Sea, Essex with my wife, Frances and 2 young children, Jesse & Ophelia who luckily adore having their photo taken! I love to run, boxset binge, golf, Test cricket, good wine, terrible shirts and travel the world. Head over to my personal Insta for confirmation that I’m not a complete weirdo!
MEET DAWN
Dawn is my lovely assistant (and sister-in-law!) for those of you who book 2 photographers! Her reportage style is perfect for capturing all those real moments whilst I’m busy pointing at people, and often these can be some of the loveliest pictures taken on your big day!
A successful freelancer in her own right, Dawn LOVES photography (maybe more than me!) and I’m very lucky to have her as my number 2. When she’s not busy building her own empire or raising 2 wonderful children, Isla & Jack, Dawn can be found chasing her black lab through the woods, on the beach or into the sea!

I like what I see! what next?
Our approach is all about building relationships, so we organise a get together with you to talk about your wedding in person if possible. We can walk you through our packages, show you some of our beautiful wedding albums and find out about your big day. It's a great way to help you find out if we'd be a good fit for your wedding.
How much will I have to pay for my wedding picture masters after the wedding?
Nothing. We are proud to hand over high resolution images to our clients inclusive of the prices quoted. We hope you choose to print with our amazing, British based printers, but we leave that up to you. It is this trust and transparency that is key to our identity as photographers and filmmakers.
How do I confirm a booking?
We ask for 20% of the agreed fee as a deposit, along with a signed contract. Our contracts have nothing scary in them, but give them a thorough read before you sign and return. Just remember to feed us at some point on the day!
Can I book both Photography and Video?
You certainly can. I rely on a collection of extremely talented photographers and videographers to help capture my signature style in both photos & video.
Can I show you some pictures I like?
We appreciate that everyone's tastes are different, and although you may love our style, we are certainly no one trick pony. We love to create a shared Pinterest board with our couples so we can get an idea of what inspires you. We're all about preparation, and want you to feel confident that you're wedding photography is in safe hands.
Where do you travel to?
We will shoot anywhere in the world...anywhere! Our prices will vary to cover our expenses, so get in touch for an accurate quote. We'll make sure to keep it competitive and will even offer special rates depending on what package you have your eye on.
How about in the UK?
Yes, we shoot anywhere in the UK, there will be a fair charge for weddings outside Essex & London to cover the travel time & expenses.
Have you shot here before?
There is a good chance we have shot your wedding venue before. But if we haven't, then don't fret. We do a fair share of research and then I personally check out the venue, often on the pre-wedding shoot with you guys. This helps me find out what you fell in love with at the venue and means I can build a plan for those showstopping shots in video and photography.
Do you just shoot weddings and families?

Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured, insurance documents are available at the request of venues.
